My name is Ziyun Wang, and I am a narrative-focused illustrator. Influenced by traditional Chinese painting from an early age, I gradually realised that illustration is not just about drawing, but a visual language capable of expressing emotions, ideas, and stories.

Through dark humour and symbolic storytelling, I create layered narratives and metaphors within my images. My work often explores social issues such as body anxiety, social pressure, and identity, while reflecting on the emotional structures and hidden mechanisms behind everyday life.

My practice spans across picture books, installations, printmaking, and series illustration.
